Unlike mass-produced drums, our approach focuses on individual craftsmanship and sound customization. We take the time to understand your preferred sound, wood species, shell size, finish, and hardware to create a drum that fits your style perfectly.
Stave shells are made from vertically aligned wooden staves joined together to form a solid ring—similar to how barrels are made. This construction method provides key advantages:
Segmented Drum Shells – Beautiful & Durable
Segmented shells have a horizontal grain pattern, pieced together like bricks. This design gives the drum a butcher-block appearance while using significantly less glue than ply shells, enhancing both tone and durability.
Every order we take is special. While we may have a few drums available for demonstration, we prefer to build your drum after a conversation about your needs.
